5K Walk Details

What: 1st Annual Walk for Women to benefit the Laurel Center (formerly the Shelter for Abused Women)

Where: At the new future site of Exclusively Faces Cosmetic Surgery & MediSpa (the intersection of Harvest Drive and Jubal Early Drive in Winchester, VA). *The 5K walk will start and end at this location, but will utilize the Green Circle trail for a portion of the walk.

When: Saturday, September 27th, 2008; Registration opens at 7:30 AM; 5K walk starts at 8:30 AM

Who: YOU! And your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers...

Why: The Center fulfills a very important need for women and children of the City of Winchester & the counties of Frederick and Clarke.

How: You can support this worthy cause in several ways: 1) Register to walk in the 5K on event-day, 2) Encourage your place of business to become a corporate sponsor of the event, 3) Enlist friends and family members to become personal sponsors or to make a personal donation. *This is a 501(c)(3) organization, therefore your donation is tax-deductible.
